Diverse Breakfast Options

Fun Pool Area

The hotel had a large swimming pool area that was perfect for families. There were dedicated sections for children, complete with water features and shallow areas. Although the main pool was closed during my visit due to repairs, it was clear that it would be a fantastic spot for kids once reopened.

Excellent Spa Facilities

I had the chance to visit the spa center during my stay, where I experienced traditional Chinese medicine treatments and massages. It was convenient to have the center located in the hotel itself, and the services were both relaxing and rejuvenating, making my trip even more nice.

My stay at the South China Hotel in Sanya was quite pleasant overall. The hotel is in a great location at the quieter east end of DaDongHai Bay, allowing for easy access to both the beach and nightlife. The room was clean, spacious, and even featured a wonderful sea view. However, the service was somewhat mixed; while the concierge was helpful, the front desk staff left much to be desired. The dining options were decent, but I felt improvements could be made in that area. Overall, it’s a solid choice for the price we paid, which was around RMB330 per night, especially considering the location.

I had a lovely stay at the South China Hotel with a fantastic location at the east-end of DaDongHai Bay and a spacious room with a great sea view. The hotel had amenities that were average, and though the pool was closed for repairs, the overall experience was quite good for the price. However, some aspects, like the inconsistent service, could definitely use improvement.
